Pre match Interview with Port Talbot Town DFC Manager Kevin Rootes

How has training been in the build up to the match?

We have had a bit of disruption with some players wanting to try mainstream football due to the lack of opportunities to play. Hopefully the plans for the South East and West Wales Building on Ability League will address this.

How do you feel your team will get on?

The last time we played it was a very close game and I am expecting a another exciting and close game even tho the squad will show 8 changes from the last time we met.

With the result from the last time the teams met how do you feel this will affect the mentally of the players?

As I said it's a different team so we will look forward to the challenge

Post Match Interview

How do you feel the game went?

To be honest I was disappointed not that we lost but several of the players allowed them Kidderminster to effect the game buy getting into their minds . We need to learn today and put what we practice on the training ground into the match. Of course some of the decisions went against us but haven't said that I felt we were the better team and did not deserve to be beaten.

Who stood out for you in the match?

I think we played well and everyone did okay and I look forward to playing them.
