Match Report

SWS 2 - 1 KAW

On Sunday 23rd May South Wales Soccability DFC played their game before becoming Port Talbot Town DFC.

We welcomed Kidderminster Athletic Warriors FC to a Wet and Windy Vivian Park for a fun friendly to end the 2020/21 Season.

The game kicked off at 12.15pm with Soccability playing Left to Right.

The game was a heavily contested game with chances for both clubs. The deadlock was broken on 20 minutes with a interception by Soccabilitys Ryan Davies who fed the ball through to Alex Meah who calmly slotted the ball at the near post to make the score 1-0 in favour of the hosts.

5 minutes later the score was 2-0 Soccability countered from a Kidderminster corner and after some good passing play Rhys Jenkins played the ball across for Alex Meah who scored his and Soccability's second of the game.

Half Time 2-0

The second half saw Soccability Kick Off now playing Right to Left.

The two sides played some brilliant football in the middle of the field.

In the 34th Minute after a defensive breakdown Lee Ballard of Kidderminster pulled a goal back to make the score 2-1.

After this goal Kidderminster were fired up and started taking the game to Soccability.

As the game came to a close tempers started to boil over.

The game finished with Soccability coming out 2-1 Victors.

A great effort from both Clubs and safe travels back for Kidderminster
